Executing a Business Process from a Ruleset
In our example below, we will show users how to call an Business Process from a ruleset. The example will be triggered when an exception occurs and an email will be sent from the Business Process.
Create Error Business Process:
The EBI user has created a Business Process that sends an email when a certain area of the ruleset errors.
Set-up Ruleset Actions for Business Process
To add a Business Process into a ruleset is much easier in EBI 3 than it was in EBI 2.
First the Clarify user needs to find the Business Process they would like to use.
In this example they will be using the StandErrorInRulesetBPS.
They can find this Business Process in the Actions section of the ruleset.
Set-up Ruleset Rules
In this example, the Clarify user will be sending an error email and forcing a transformation error when the SQL statement does not bring back an AN8 value.
