Getting Started

Installing Cleo Clarify should be easy for end users. The install should take no more than 10-15 minutes. Below are the instructions from start to end.

Step 1 :: Execute Clarify Studio

Double click on EBI_Studio_3_1_Win64 Application file to install the Clarify Program

Step 2 :: Confirm Install

Click “Yes” to allow the Clarify program to install on the hard drive.

The following box should appear. Wait until it has completed.

Step 3 :: Introduction to Install

After reading the Introduction screen click "Next".

Step 4 :: Accept Terms of Agreement

Accept the terms of the License Agreement and click “Next”.

Step 5 :: Identify Location of Install

Identify a directory to where we want the Clarify Program installed.

Step 6 :: Enter Memory Configuration

Enter the Server Memory Allocation. The suggested Value is 4096m; this would be 4.096 gb.

Step 7 :: Update SMTP Server Setting

Enter the SMTP Server Settings. For this install, the default values are being used and seen in the screenshot below.

Step 8 :: Create Shortcuts to EBI 3 Studio

Choose a shortcut folder for the EXTOL Business Integrator icons

Step 9 :: Pre-Installation Confirmation

Review the Pre-Installation Summary, if everything looks correct, click the "Install" button.

Step 10 :: Installation Complete

When the install is complete, click "Done"

Step 11 :: Apply License Code

Once the install is complete, contact Cleo support to obtain a production EBI 3 License. Once the license is obtained, the license.txt file will be placed into the folder where Cleo Clarify was installed and inside the runtime folder.
