Applying Parameters to JAVA Class Being Called from Business Process

EXTOL Business Integrator 2.6 - Existing Functionality

I am attempting to use a Java Program that Scans and Replaces.
In EBI 2.6, one of the parameters is ${CR}${LF}.
When we try to enter that in EBI 3 it does not allow us to use {}.

In addition, we are unable to input a value for paramter 3

We are unable to access/set-up the JAVA call the same way we did in EBI 2.6. EBI 3 does not allow us to use the curly brackets.
